THE ESTUARY COUNTRY ESTATE VILLA 14

in Port Edward, South Coast,
KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
A few steps from the tranquil waters edge this self catering unit sleeps 6 people and is surrounded by a lush green sub-tropical forest with abundant bird life, including the resident Fish Eagle. During winter months the annual
sardine run phenomena ensures wonderful dolphin and whale watching.
The main room, which leads onto a balcony overlooking the estuary, has a queen size bed, dressing table, built in cupboards, en-suite bathroom with bath and separate shower, DStv
(B&B Bouquet but guests are welcome to bring their own DSTV cards) and an air conditioner.
The second bedroom has two single beds, built in cupboards, dressing table, en-suite bathroom (shower only), DStv
(B&B Bouquet but guests are welcome to bring their own DSTV cards) and air conditioner and also leads onto a balcony with breathtaking views of the estuary.
The third room has two single beds, which can be joined to make a king size, dressing table, built in cupboards, air conditioner, DStv
(B&B Bouquet but guests are welcome to bring their own DSTV cards) and en suite bathroom with shower.
All bedding, linen and towels are provided. Daily maid service and baby sitting can be arranged on request.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary items including a washing machine, tumble drier, and dishwasher. The villa offers automated garaging for 2 cars with parking for another 2.
The unit is surrounded on two sides by the water of the estuary. Just a short stroll or paddle and you will find the
Port Edward main beach with its golden stretch of sand and inviting waves.
It is set in a secure estate with 24-hour guard. For those not wanting to cater for themselves, there is the restaurant in the beautiful Estuary Country Hotel and for those wanting the bright lights, the Wild Coast Sun is only 5 minutes away. With both
San Lameer and The Wild Coast Sun minutes away, golf enthusiasts need look no further for some of the most scenic (and challenging) courses to play.
For those who love nature there is the Lake Eland game reserve (35 min drive), the
Oribi Gorge. This natural wonder boasts ancient boulders at the base of cliffs formed from sand-stone deposited some 356 million years ago. There are plenty of viewing sites, but the intrepid explorer might want to tackle the terrain on foot. If you do, you are bound to see rare plants and animals, and many of the 250 recorded bird species from the area.
