A beautiful & unique part of the Dolphin Coast, in a tranquil & private sub-tropical environment.
Location: 68kms north of Durban off the N2 freeway,
Umvoti River Mouth & Lagoon is situated in this area and is well-known to bird lovers.
Facilities:
- Protected swimming beach (200m away) with lifeguards during season.
- The chalet is set in beautifully maintained gardens. Facilities include a large swimming pool, together with braai area in the pool grounds.
- Unit 26 has parking directly in front of the chalet. This parking is not an exclusive use parking, but is based on first come first served.
- Unit 26 consists of 2 bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. The chalet comfortably sleeps 4 to 5 adults maximum. Open plan lounge and fully kitted-out kitchen.
- This unit is the only one in the complex with its own sheltered private garden in which to enjoy breakfast or braai's. There is also a deck on the roof with 180° sea views, a fantastic place to watch the whales and dolphins from, or to just sit watching the sun come up or sipping that sundowner.
- There is TV/DVD available (only 1, 2, 3 & e-TV). Chalet also consists of microwave, washing machine and the normal self-catering requirements. There is also a portable braai for use in the garden or even on the deck.
- Cleaning service available if required.
Activities:
Include swimming, fishing, deep sea fishing, surfing, jet-skiing as well as brid watching.
For everyday necessities i.e. bread, milk, etc. There is a small shop/butchery nearby. Banks, a post office, petrol and supermarket 8kms away. There are several golf courses in the area, the closest being
Prince's Grant.
For other activities and restaurants Ballito is 20mins south. A 90min. drive north up the N2 will take you to the Zululand Coastal Belt with its magnificent choice of game reserves, including the world famous
Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Reserve.
