5 Summer Place is a large (130 sq metres), 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday flat
situated on the seafront of Shelly Beach. The flat sleeps a maximum of 8 people.
The main bedroom has two three quarter beds next to each other, a shower, basin
and toilet en-suite. Two of the other bedrooms have queen sized beds and the
fourth bedroom has twin beds. The second bathroom has a bath, basin and toilet.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge/freezer,
dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle, as well as crockery, cutlery and pots
and pans. There is also a washing machine in the unit. There is a tumble drier
in the laundry section of the complex.
The spacious lounge and main bedroom lead out to the patio. There are also braai
facilities at the communal swimming pool.
The flat is fully furnished and equipped - just bring your own beach and bath
towels.
The flat has a TV and certain DStv channels are available. A satellite dish has
been connected just bring your own decoder and card and also the expertise to
set it up.
This is a fully enclosed and secure complex with 24 hour security and well kept
child friendly gardens that includes a fenced off swimming pool.
There is undercover parking for one vehicle. A second parking bay can be
arranged if requested well in advance especially during peak season. Access to
beach and tidal pool is via a private gate. The beaches of St Michaels, Margate,
Uvongo offer safe bathing.
There are many golf courses in the area including San Lameer,
Oribi Gorge
offers the gorge swing and abseiling. Lake Eland is well worth a visit. Here the
visitor can enjoy animals such as zebra, wildebeest and giraffe. For those who
are not as adventurous as to gorge swinging, a walk across the suspension bridge
is sure to get the adrenalin pumping!
The Shelly Centre and Spar shopping complexes are within walking distance. The
South Coast Mall is approximately three kilometers away. There are cinemas in
the Shelly Centre.
5 Summer Place is a mere fifty metres from the Sonny Evans small craft harbour.
This harbour offers launching facilities and is the departure point for deep sea
diving, whale/dolphin viewing, and game fishing trips.
There are also numerous restaurants in and around Shelly Beach.
So sorry that pets are not allowed and smoking is restricted to the balcony.
There is also a safe in the unit - just bring your own padlock and key.
