The apartment comprises an air-conditioned main bedroom with full en-suite bathroom, 2 additional bedrooms (with ceiling fans), a second main bathroom, fully-fitted and equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge (all air-conditioned). The main bedroom and lounge open up onto a spacious double balcony with unobstructed sea views. The balcony is furnished with outdoor lounge and dining furniture with sideboard and a large gas barbecue/braai. Two TV sets, a dual satellite decoder and DVD/Video player are provided for those who wish to stay indoors.
All furniture, fittings and equipment are top-quality and the apartment is comprehensively and tastefully decorated and equipped to ensure that you experience that "home away from home" feeling. All linen is provided, as is a washing machine and drying facilities to ensure you do not have to pack large quantities of clothing, regardless of the length of your stay. You also do not have to pack a Weber braai, beach chairs, beach umbrella, or collapsible table, as these are all provided for you in a secure separate storeroom, which can also be used to store your bike, fishing tackle, surfboard, or whatever, if you are the outdoor or sporting type. A dedicated under-cover parking bay is available for your vehicle, and if you have more than one vehicle, ample secure parking is available.
To ensure that you spend all your time having a really relaxing and enjoyable holiday, the apartment is fully serviced on a daily basis.
The complex has 24-hour security, its own swimming pool and paddling pool, with adjacent braai facilities and a clubhouse. Access to the beach is directly through a locked gate, as is access to the adjacent lagoon, which is excellent for small children and for canoeing. An excellent restaurant can also be accessed through the lagoon gate, where you can relax and enjoy without the worry of having to go through a roadblock.
Illovo Beach
Illovo Beach boasts uncrowded, wide unspoilt beaches with a pristine lagoon and Nature Reserve, which teems with birdlife. The beach is unprotected, but is safe for swimming and is patrolled by Beach Guards. Bathing is pleasant throughout the year, due to the sub-tropical climate. Shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment, and protected beaches are 5 minutes drive away.
Excellent golf courses (Selbourne and
Umkomaas, which is a 10 minute drive from Illovo Beach.
Durban, with its many attractions can be reached in 25 minutes and the International Airport is 15 minutes away.
