75 Effingham parade is a spacious family home situated in the quaint little
coastal town of Trafalgar on the South Coast of Natal. Trafalgar Beach has been
upgraded to Blue Flag Beach status. The unspoilt beach of Trafalgar is situated
in a Coastal Marine Reserve and therefore offers the visitor a totally unspoilt
beach experience. The surrounding protected natural indigenous dune forest
offers the visitor unique insight to the lush tropical South Coast with it's
diverse plant species and abundant resident wildlife.
The four bedroom family house is situated on the protected Yengele dune forest.
The slight elevation offers tremendous 180 degree seaviews where whales and
dolphin sightings are a familiar daily sighting.
The house's private wooden footpath leads directly onto the beach path in front
of the house. A few steps and you are directly on the unspoilt beach where the
protected 90 Million year fossil beds can be explored at low tide. Beach walks,
swimming at the shark netted Trafalgar Blue Flag beach and great fishing off the
unspoilt beaches and rocky pools will keep the visitor entertained for hours on
end.
The house is ideally situated to explore the many surrounding attractions that
the South Coast has to offer from beaches, nature reserves, golf courses,
fishing, boat charters and much, much more.
The house has four bedrooms and can accommodate 8 people comfortably. Two
bedrooms are situated upstairs (both with on suite bathrooms) with a balcony
that offers the visitor a vantage point with the most tremendous views,
downstairs there are another two bedrooms with two single beds. The downstairs
rooms share a bathroom.
The open-plan kitchen is fully fitted with all the needed appliances, microwave,
drinks fridge, main fridge, dishwasher, oven and all cutlery and crockery needed
for an extended stay. The large living room has been furnished with beach style
furniture with DSTV/DVD and C/D radio available for use by guests. The dining
room has a large 8 seater dining room table that is perfect for evening meals.
On the extremely large outside deck with 180 degree seaviews there are two cast
iron tables and chairs (one a 8 seater and a raised 4 seater) and umbrellas
where hours of lazying and whale watching can be enjoyed. Most visitors prefer
to have meals outside on the deck with the most beautiful sunrises and moonrises
can be experienced. There is a weber and a loose braai provided as well as a
built-in braai for those that prefer to braai on the deck.
The house offers full security with trellidoors, burglar bars as well as inside
and outside beams with alarm system and armed response. The automated gate can
be opened with remote or from inside intercom system. The property is fully
fenced with a wooden walkway that leads directly to the beach path.
All linen is provided except beach towels. A domestic worker can be arranged do
do all needed cleaning except laundry. There is a tumble dryer and washing
machine provided for your convenience. The property is a mere 10 minutes drive
from Margate (north) and Port Edward (South). All facilities, restaurants,
shopping centres, game reserves, crocodile farms and much more is all within
10-15 minutes drive away.
75 Effingham parade is set in a peaceful, quite serene environment for you to
enjoy a well deserved break. The house is fully equipped and is designed for you
to relax and enjoy the glorious South Coast with all it has to offer.
