The comfort and simplicity of this clean, well cared for home away from home
affords the holiday maker, family and/or friends a relaxed, care free break at
an affordable price.
90 Nautilus Place, a self catering free standing house, is situated in Christmas
Rock 30 km from the East London Airport. It is a comfortable house consisting of
a fully furnished and equipped open plan lounge/dining-room/kitchen, three
bedrooms and an outbuilding. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and bathroom,
shower & toilet en suite. The other two bedrooms each have a double bed and
share a large bathroom & toilet. The outbuilding consists of a lock up garage
(single) and a laundry with an automatic washing machine. Bedding, towels and
bathmats are provided - but not beach/swimming towels. Please note that the
house is not serviced. There is a television set in the lounge with the normal
SABC programs - bring your own Smart Card should you want your usual DStv..
Only fifty meters from the house and in full view from the lounge/kitchen side
is a large open grassed area with a lovely children's play feature - jungle gym
style.
Although not visible from the house, a fifty meter walk would take guests to a
game fence through which some impala, zebra and ostrich can often be seen.
The house is only two to three minutes from the Christmas Rock beach which is a
large, pristine, very long, sandy beach - ideal for just lazing and strolling on
the beach. The length of the beach and the suitability of the adjacent Sea Vale
& Keysers beaches on the one side and Kidds Beach on the other side make for
some great aerobic walking or jogging.
Arrangements can be made for deep sea fishing by charter for those interested in
more than casting a line into the sea from the beach or off the rocks.
There is a small supply store a minute's walk away. Kidd's Beach, approximately
12 km from Christmas Rock, has a few small supply stores as well as a café & a
beach restaurant.
The Greenfields shopping complex near the airport will have pretty well anything
else you might need, BUT, should serious, discerning shoppers be suffering from
withdrawal symptoms, the Vincent Park Mall and the Hemingsway Mall & Casino in
East London will more than give them the "fix" they need.
