Set in a beautiful, Blythedale Beach offers a peaceful escape from the hectic pace of life.
No. 9 is set on the edge of an overhang, offering 180° breathtaking sea views. Dolphins and whales can regularly be spotted. Access to the beach across the road is 3 to 4 minutes walk.

extra at prevailing rates.

- Swimming (pool/beach). Lifeguards on main beach on weekends and holidays.
- Fishing (shore or deep sea), musseling and crayfishing (with appropriate licenses).
- Long walks on beautiful open beaches.
- Excellent bird watching at Umvoti River mouth lagoon 3km to the south (also accessible on beach).
- 5 golf courses within 30km radius.
- Excellent dining and shopping are available at Ballito (20 minutes to south), and Gateway Mall (40 minutes to south).
- Blythedale has a small supermarket/butcher, bottle store and small coffee shop/restaurant.
- Kwa-Dukuza, site of the Shaka and Albert Luthuli memorials, is 10 minutes away and offers a bustling atmosphere in which to explore an interesting variety of shops.
