Our 8 unit Guesthouse, with self-catering facilities, is set in the quiet secure Northern suburb of
Parkview. A delightful leafy suburb full of history and right next to the Zoo and
Zoo Lake. The village atmosphere is enhanced by lovely walks, restaurants and a unique shopping center that has retained the olde world charm of the suburb's early days while nevertheless catering for all one's needs.
We are on the bus route for the CBD and have easy access to the freeways. Conveniently close to
Auckland Park area, we are very centrally situated.
We are close to the Major Theatres, Art Galleries, Hospitals and the Universities.
We have a swimming pool for your use and Tennis, Golf, Bowls and Squash are a short walk away.
The lovely warmth that Abigails B&B provides is enhanced by the interesting, artistically decorated interiors, original artworks, Granny Goose duvets and pillows, pristine white cotton bed linen and small luxurious touches, such as toweling gowns, that add to the ambience of creativity that will entice our guests into relaxed comfort.
All our accommodation has been planned to ensure your privacy and total enjoyment. The secluded clusters of garden have been designed to add a further dimension of enjoyment, with interesting water features, quiet restful corners and abundant bird life.
We have been awarded three stars by the SA Tourism Grading Council are A.A. Highly Recommended and were a finalist in the 2001 A.A. Accommodation awards.
We have secure lockup parking.
We have eight units, all with bathroom en suite, available to guests, each of which has it's own distinctive character and charm. Names like Tartan Trout, Gull Cottage and The Singing Chameleon hint at the unique personality of each unit.
All the units are equipped with an "Alarm Radio", Television and a heater in winter.
For transfers from the airport etc. can be arranged.
Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
Gull Cottage
A fully self-contained cottage with its own lounge, kitchen, bathroom and patio.
Mulberry Cottage
A fully self-contained cottage with its own kitchen, bathroom and private patio.
Benjamins
A very large suite, with a Victorian theme, with its own separate lounge and bathroom and full use of a fully equipped kitchen.
Tartan Trout
A large suite, with a Scottish feel, with its own separate lounge, bathroom, with use of a fully equipped kitchen and with it's own verandah.
Livingstones
A single room, with an African theme, with its own bathroom and full use of a fully equipped kitchen.

A double room with an ethnic feel, it's own patio and bathroom en suite and sharing a kitchen with:
The Singing Chameleon
A double room with it's own bathroom en suite, very private patio with a lovely water feature and full use of the shared kitchen.
These units can double as a very comfortable, 2 bedroomed family unit.
Marmadukes
This is our newest addition, a double bedroom with ensuite shower etc., and a fridge and tea making facilities, no kitchen.
All units are fully serviced. We supply tea, coffee etc. and a large continental Breakfast is available in our lovely new studio dining room, which can double as a meeting room and could be utilized for small conferences.
