After a long trip on the N1 relax and unwind on our comfortable donkey carts we lead you out of Beaufort West and into the Karoo. Listen to our tourist guide's stories about life in the veld while the sun slowly sinks behind the Nieuweveld Mountains and the landscape glows in all shades of colours from gold to flaming red; sip a glass of champagne, taste some Karoo specialties while you watch the spectacular sunset sky.

Services: Two hour guided roundtrip on a donkey cart (two- or four-in-hand), 1 glass of champagne, Karoo snacks.

Prices: R120 per person. Half price for children under 12.

Tour dates: Daily departures between 4 and 5 pm (according to season) from Clyde House, 25, Donkin Street (at the end of the town on the N1 towards Johannesburg). We also offer to pick you up at and bring you back to your accommodation. Please mind that the duration of the tour will increase accordingly.
