Howick, Bicycle Tours SA is geared to offer tourists and trippers, cyclist and non-cyclists, the opportunity to explore the
KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. We supply the local and international tourist with the opportunity to explore our countryside from a unique viewpoint, with the added luxury of a back-up vehicle and capable bike guides.
We provide:

For the co-tourist with limited time, we offer a number of single-day trips exploring the countryside around the historical town of Howick.
Some trips include lunch and/or sundowners. All day trips include route refreshments and drinks.
Wildlife and waterfalls trip:
Staring out from the
Umgeni Valley Nature Reserve a brief cycle through the reserve, viewing wildlife and fantastic views, is followed by a longer cycle out along forest roads to the lunch site. A vehicle transfer ensures comfortable return to Howick in the middle afternoon.
Wildlife, woodlands and waterfalls trip:
Setting out from Umgeni Nature Valley Reserve, we take in the beauty of the nature reserve, before a brief vehicle transfer through to the
Karkloof forests. After an exhilarating whizz through the indigenous forests, we cycle down to the Karkloof and Woodhouse Falls, to enjoy the rest of the day. A vehicle transfer ensures comfortable return back to Howick in the late afternoon.
Wildlife and water: Midmar day trip
Departing from the entrance at
Midmar Dam, this trip is leisurely, flat and very mellow! Cross the dam via motorised launch, finishing back at the main gate for lunch or sundowners.
