We offer stunning 1-2 hour outrides in a private game reserve with a variety of game including kudu, springbok and impala and a variety of birds and mammals. We have horses for all abilities ranging from thoroughbred to warmbloods, arabians and boerperde. There are stunning views as the trails are set in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains. The veld in natural and unspoiled and the sunrises and sunsets are unrivalled!

As a unique trip we offer searching for meerkats on horse back in association with The Meerkat Magic Conservation Project! A truly unique experience where you may get to see these incredible, illusive creatures from horse back and watch them forage and carry on with their daily lives. Very advanced bookings advised to avoid disappointment. Tour hosted by Grant Mc Ilrath (The Meerkat Man) and Laura Mc Ilrath (The Meerkat Lady).

The Greek word for horse is Ikkos, it also means the "Great Light", come and enjoy our enlightening all round equestrian experiences.

Animal Haven Petting Farm

Animal haven petting farm, Oudtshoorn - Come and visit our petting farm and meet our friendly, fun and cute animals. You can meet dogs, cats, an angora goat, sheep, Miniature pot bellied piglets, guinea pigs and rabbits.
Come and pet them and feed them and even have a ride on one of our horses!

You can feed the animals and pony rides are available for all ages.

Take home some great memories and some great photographs

Your entrance fee will help towards the upkeep of our current animals and also help to rescue more animals in need of our help.
