Isivuba Tours And Fishing Safaris
Fishing / Overland Tours
in Malelane, Mpumalanga, South Africa
Isivuba Tours and Fishing Adventures operate in the Komatipoort
areas of the Kruger Park South region of Mpumalanga Province – also known as the “Wild Frontier”. We
are ideally situated close to both the Malelane and Crocodile Bridge entrance Gates to the Kruger
National Park, with the Kingdom of Swaziland and the country of Mozambique on our doorstep.
We specialize in fresh water fishing safaris. Not only are our guides very professional, they are
also very familiar with the local waters, and most importantly…very keen anglers. We have negotiated
private venues with the local farm owners (farm dams as well as stretches of the Komati River) NOT
OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Target species could include any of the following: Bass, Bream (blue and
red breasted), Carp, Catfish, Mudfish and of the course the “striped water dog” hydrocynus vittatus…better
known as the Tiger Fish.
During the winter months (May through to end of August) we offer only bank angling, targeting as
many species as possible. Sessions are normally 8 hours in duration (07h00 to 15h00) and where
necessary all rods/reels and tackle can be provided (high quality) at a nominal extra cost. Anglers
are of course welcome to bring their own equipment.
Throughout the rest of the year (September through to the end April) we offer boat based angling
on board our 4 man boat “Scarey Express” in addition to bank angling. Sessions are normally 4 hours
in duration (06h00 to 10h00 in the mornings and/or 14h00 to 18h00 in the afternoons). Our summer
temperatures are very high, and we try not to be on the water during the hottest times of the day.
From the boat we target mainly large mouthed Bass and/or Tiger Fish. Once again all rods/reels and
tackle can be provided.
To compliment your fishing safari (and to cater for non-anglers) we offer day tours to various
places of interest (including the Kruger National Park / Swaziland / Mozambique) as well as an activity
booking service. There are loads of things to do around here, the area is not known as the “Wild
Frontier” for no good reason. We’ve even combined some of our favourite day tours and activities
into Mpumalanga tours of multiple days in duration.
Whether you are an international guest planning a trip to South Africa, or a South African
wanting to travel to our beautiful part of the country, join one of our interesting tours, or let us
tailor make a package for you. You won’t regret it…
