We are nestled in the heart of the Midlands of Kwazulu-Natal. Our farm
(Poplar Grove) is located 24km outside of Nottingham Road on the Lotheni/Sani
pass road. We have walking trails available for those who love the outdoors! You
can enjoy bird watching, fishing, and seeing game all along the way! We take you
to see some bushman cave drawings, and animals that can be spotted include:
Mountain Reedbuck, Oribi, Duiker, Bushpig, Wharthog, Baboon, Eland, Zebra, Blue
Crane and other. You can bring your fishing gear and enjoy some fishing in the
river/dam along the way where we will be resting. We also give you a pic nic
basket and/or braai at a resting spot on the trail. We also allow some time for
canoeing!
Half Day package:
- R200 per person OR R110 per child under the age of 12
- 500ml Water
- Energade
- Pic nic basket with asorted snacks
- Walk 6km
Full Day Package:
- R400 per person
- 1litre Water
- Energade
- Braai & Pic nic basket
- Walk 13km
If you wish to carry your own food & drinks, you are welcome to do so. We
will then only be charging for the walking guide; Half Day will be R90 per
person; Full Day will be R180 per person. No children under the age of 12 years
will be allowed for the Full Day, and no children under the age of 9 years will
be allowed for the Half Day. Children under 12 will be charged at R50 per child
if we don't supply food or drink.
