Trail Rides:
Escape to the magic of the Cape Winelands on horseback. The best way to view the fauna and flora of the Cape and the awesome orchards and fynbos soaking up all the cape has to offer.
Our horses are stunning and well schooled. We cater for the absolute beginner to the more advanced riders. For those who are anxious about riding we have turned many a nervous candidate into confident competitors. We also offer specialized rides; a hunter trail for the more experienced which includes long canters and jumps, a sundowner trail on which you can view the African sunset on horseback and visit the Moyo restaurant for cocktails after the ride (included in the cost), a breakfast ride where you breakfast at the Spier Deli after your ride.

Carriage rides:
For those who do not wish to ride, or are too old or too young, would thoroughly enjoy a carriage trip through the vineyards on which one could sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Our quaint carriage will enchant you and our noble steeds will put their heads down and make the trip one to remember. We offer a sundowner carriage ride-sipping champagne while watching the African sunset and listening to the beat of horses hooves and sounds of the Cape at dusk. We also offer a breakfast carriage ride where one breakfasts at the Spier Deli afterwards with the ducks and a setting you could only find at Spier.

Pony rides:
Delight your children with a pony ride

Riding School:
Our riding school offers lessons on a weekly basis for locals or once off individual lessons for those holidaying in the Cape. Become a competent rider to enjoy hacking or make it a hobby and become a competitive rider, we offer tuition in Show Jumping, Dressage and eventing
