Alba House Bed and Breakfast is situated in the centre of the Cape Winelands,
in the picturesque town of Paarl, one of the 3 oldest towns in South Africa.
Ideally suited for exploration of the Winelands, Cape Town and the near towns of
Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
Enjoy wonderful view from this guest house of the Berg River valley, with
majestic Klein Drakenstein Mountains in the background. Paarl is easily
reachable from Cape Town on the N1 motorway in 30 minutes. Cape Town
International airport is only 40 minutes away. We offer airport transfers,
holiday planning and visits to local attractions. Guided tours arranged.

Sports facilities in and around town for golfers, tennis players, swimmers,

Room 1- Superior queen size, AIR CONDITIONED, has a splendid view of the
garden and mountains, outside private seating patio with sun umbrella. Queen
size bed, flat screen TV, free WiFi connection. Shower over bath in the modern
bathroom. Own private entrance through glass French doors into the garden.
Room 2- twin room, AIR CONDITIONED, has two single beds, suitable for 2
people or a single guest, shower in the bathroom only, view of the garden and
private outside patio seating in the garden, sun umbrella. Own private entrance
through glass French doors. Outside seating patio. African style, quality modern
décor. Free WiFi, flat screen TV.
Room 3- queen size bed, AIR CONDITIONED, has a view of the garden, large,
newly refurbished bathroom with separate shower and a large bath, heated towel
rail. Shady patio seating outside the room. Private entrance. Free WIFI
connection, flat screen satellite TV.
Room 4- is the largest, has an extra large king size bed, (2 single bed can
be added), large shower and a separate bath in the modern bathroom, fire place,
under floor heating, big outside vine shaded patio seating. Private entrance
through glass French doors. View of the garden and mountains beyond. Guests can
park their car outside the room. Free WIFI connection, large satellite TV,
stocked bar fridge, coffee/tea facility. Pool towels supplied.
The accommodation:

The modern and airy rooms are all fully equipped with satellite flat screen
TV, free internet connection (wireless), radio alarm, stocked bar fridges, tea
tray, hair dryers, ceiling fans, air conditioning, wall safe, all have heating
in the winter.
Three of the bathrooms have a bath and a shower, the twin room shower only. We
provide quality toiletries, bath robes, slippers and towels. Smokers are welcome
to smoke outside the rooms, ashtrays are provided.
Delicious breakfast is served in the breakfast room with amazing view, or the
terrace (weather permitting). We offer you a selection of cereals, fresh fruit
juices, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and cold buffet, followed by hot country fare
of bacon and eggs, omelettes, selection of home made breads, jams and
marmalades. We source fresh farm produce in the local area. Fresh eggs, fruit,
local hams, bacon and cheese. Fresh muffins baked daily.
The pool area:
Relax by the large sparkling swimming pool in a beautiful garden. Sun umbrellas,
comfortable loungers. Pool towels supplied. Solar shower by the pool.
