We have 9 reed and canvas chalets, which are basic but comfortable, each with
twin beds and en-suite toilet and shower.
The camp is run off a generator, power being available for lighting and charging
of batteries in the evenings. We provide comfortable beds and linen etc, but we
ask that you bring your own toiletries and beach towel.
This is a no-frills destination for the adventurous traveller. This
accommodation is very rustic - the focus is on the activities available.
Kosi Bay is a stunning destination for people who enjoy the outdoors. The series
of lakes, a protected lagoon and a remote beach is a haven for those searching
for a glimpse of wilderness.
We are situated just outside the gate to Kosi Bay mouth (which is a 10-minute
drive from the beach or an energetic 40 minute walk).
The nearest grocery shops and petrol stations are approx 20 kms from Amangwane.
Access - Good tar and gravel road all the way to the camp. Accessible with any
vehicle. 10 minutes from the Mozambique border. Less than 2 hours from Hluhluwe.
We organise a variety of activities from the accommodation and do offer road
transfers too.
