Self Catering Chalet/ Townhouse Accommodation

'Amarola' consists of two semi-detached, family orientated bachelor cottages next to each other and situated a short distance from the village center. Each chalet can accommodate up to two adults and one child. Should guests want to accommodate an additional child, they are welcome to bring along a blow up mattress to place upstairs.

Each cottage features a dining and sitting area, which incorporates the bedroom (the unbelievably comfortable king size bed can be made up as 2 single beds if preferred) and generous cupboard space.

There is a well equipped kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.

A separate bathroom with both bath and shower completes the downstairs area.

The upper mezzanine deck provides an additional play and sleeping area for two children. A single bed is provided but there is space for an additional mattress.

Sliding doors open from the room into an enclosed patio-garden which looks over lawns up to the encircling Rooiberg Mountain range.

There is a flat screen TV with DSTV in the lounge and in summer you can enjoy the outside patio with its table, chairs and baby Weber type Braai.

There are heaters, warm duvets for keeping snug and warm in winter.

'Amarola' is situated in the 'Larola Section' of the Clarens Village which is situated just over the Fouriesburg road, immediately opposite the New Golf Club. This is a secure and private area just 2 kilometers from the village center which has security guards at the two entrances to the complex during the hours of darkness.

Regret Pets and Smoking are not permitted.

Clarens is fast becoming one of the most popular weekend 'Getaway Destinations' for South Africans and tourists alike due to its special ambience, its spectacular sandstone scenery, wonderful climate and close proximity to Gauteng, Durban and Bloemfontein.

It boasts an exceptional golf course, excellent fishing water and a wide range of outdoor sports activities which include, hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, quad bike trails and white water rafting to name a few.
