Whether you come to work or to play is up to you - what is important is that
you realise that "Annies' Place" is the ideal venue in the Garden Route area.
This newly built house at the picturesque Glentana has a luxurious 110 square
meter flat which affords spectacular views from all rooms over the ocean and
towards Mosselbay in the south-west. The flat occupies the whole of the lower
level of the house, with separate entry which offers total privacy to the
occupants.
It consists of 2 en-suite double bedrooms with queen beds and a bunker bed
suitable for children. The bathrooms offer toilet, shower and vanity basins.
A fully equipped (fridge/freezer; microwave; gas hob) open plan kitchenette,
dining and sitting area allows you to cook or relax while watching the dolphins
and whales (in season) frolicking in the waves. DSTV (Easy View) + dvd player
helps you to stay in touch with reality. The full "DSTV Premium Package" will be
activated during the December holiday or upon request for stays longer than 7
days. The seashore is just 300 m from the house, and the 180 degree view is one
of the best you will find anywhere. The lounge also has a single bed, thus
providing 9 beds in all, although you will only be charged for a maximum of 4
guests.
In front of the flat is an outside entertainment area for sundowners or
barbeque. You will have a choice of using a gas or wood for your braai.
Guests can make use of the host's laundry and car wash facilities when needed.
Your vehicle has safe parking off the street, and a lock-up garage is available
upon request.
Great Brak River is the closest town (8 km) and offers restaurants, "Spar",
doctors, pharmacy etc. It even has its own golf course and driving range.
Other famous golf courses close by are Fancourt, Oubaai, Pinnacle Point, and
also a host of others equally suitable.
You will also be spoilt by having a choice of things to do like swimming,
fishing, boating trips, scuba diving, scenic walks, game parks, Outeniqua
choo-choo traintrips, 4x4 routes, surfing, wining and dining etc. Great cycling
routes abound for both mountain bikes and roadies.
10 Minutes drive from George airport. 20 minutes to George or Mosselbay.
This is also a popular destination for visitors to the KKNK in Oudtshoorn, Cango
caves and "The Hell" in the Knysna , Plettenberg
Bay are also within reach.
If you arrive late, don't panic! Your fridge will have enough food and drinks to
get you through your first day. Coffee or tea and home baked rusks are of course
also supplied.
Just come as you are - you will long for nothing more.
Please note that this is a non-smoking facility - outside you can do as you
wish.
Pets that are house-trained and not aggressive are welcome.
Flat is not serviced during stay. Towels are supplied, and beach towels also if
needed.
