Argyle House is located in a quiet cul de sac 200m from the state forest in the exclusive George suburb of Heatherlands.

The guest house is set in its own grounds, adjacent to the owner's private cottage, giving the guests the exclusive use of the house and facilities. The guest house has a four star bed and breakfast rating, and offers three double on suite bedrooms, all with dual channel DSTV and MNET. In addition a large air conditioned on suite family room is available with its own entrance sleeping a family of four. The residents lounge and licensed bar opens out to a spacious open deck, and swimming pool with uninterrupted views of the state forest, and the Outeniqua Mountains.

To ensure that your stay is easy and relaxed Argyle House takes care of the small details, and local bookings, breakfast is started early to give you a good start with your day's activities. If you are flying into George, we can organise either car hire or a pick up from the airport to Argyle House. The secure parking area is within the grounds, with remote controlled access.

Argyle House has a non smoking policy in the bed rooms, and dinning room, with a smoking area available in the lounge and on the open deck.

Golf: In addition to the magnificent local garden route scenery, and beaches, George is rapidly becoming known as the golfing Mecca of South Africa. In addition to the Fancourt Golf Estate home of the presidents Cup in 2003, there are many other golf courses in George and the surrounding area, within easy driving distance.
