This beautiful family home is located in the charming fishing village of
Arniston, two hours drive from Cape Town. The six bed roomed house is
idyllically situated with unobstructed views of the ocean.

rooms and 2 twin rooms)

- Open plan kitchen and dining area opening out onto the patio with outdoor braai

Every bedroom is tastefully decorated with two twin and four double rooms. Two
of the double rooms have their own private entrances, are ensuite and have a
small lounge area with tea and coffee making facilities.
The kitchen / dining room is a relaxed open plan layout and a great place to
entertain or be entertained. The kitchen comes fully equipped and includes a
dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier and a coffee machine. The dining
room opens out onto the courtyard which is well protected from the wind and has
an outdoor braai (BBQ).
The lounge and TV room are at the front of the house and open out onto a large
patio (complete with outdoor braai). There is a fireplace and underfloor heating
in this area of the house making it an ideal place to curl up with a glass of
red wine on a cold evening or challenge your friends and family to a game of
Trivial Pursuit. A PVR DSTV card is provided.
In front of the house (and the only thing between you and the sea) is a large
piece of open ground, a great place to play a game of boules or throw a frisbee.
Two properties to the left of The Arniston Beach House is the Arniston Hotel.
There is no better place to go to get away from it all, put your feet up and
relax. If you prefer getting out and about there are a number of activities that
you can do in the area. Build sand castles on the exquisite white beaches, surf
or swim in the warm water, go hiking in the nearby
De Hoop Nature Reserve (great
for birdwatchers), hire a mountain bike from the Arniston Hotel and go exploring
the area, visit the coastal caves, drive down to Cape Aghulus (the southern most
tip of Africa where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet), sandboard in the dunes
and in season (April to January) you can watch the majestic Southern Right
Whales from the balcony at The Arniston Beach House.
