The house was originally built in 1904 with wooden floors, steel ceilings and a lot of fire places. The house has a wonderful atmosphere with huge murals painted in the entrance hall and spacious entertainment areas. A landmark in the Free State with professional service.

It is really easy to get to Steward Guesthouse from the N1, JHB or Cape Town, you take the Eeufees offroad the moment you enter town, 5km you stop infront of the guesthouse. Eeufees becomes Aliwal Street (No. 85). From the airport: We are the closest guesthouse, at the 5th traffic light you turn to your right into Aliwal Street, 300m on the lefthand side.
