Pringle Bay which offers an unforgettable Eco
experience in the heart of the fynbos biosphere. It is nestled between the two
Hangklip Mountains to the North and South with the Bay and Table Mountain to the
West. To reach Pringle Bay the R44 winds past Gordons' Bay all along the sea via
one of the world's most scenic mountain drives, with lookout points all along
Clarence Drive. Our quaint, peaceful village has no street lights, by choice.
This turns the evenings, with the bright starlight and the Peninsula lights in
the distance into a veritable fairyland.
The lovely walking trails, beach strolls, diving and fishing are for the more
energetic spells. For more laid back entertainment there is whale watching, a
visit to the penguin colony or just sun tanning. Whatever your mood or
preference you will find it a wonderful holiday hideout. Because development is
restricted by the Koegelberg Biosphere which surrounds it, the beaches are never
crowded.
There are several restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The two
convenience stores offers a variety of fresh bread as well, which should satisfy
any hunger pangs.
@Annie's is the ground floor of a double storey house with its own entrances,
which is managed by the owner. A thick cement slab ensures complete privacy from
the first floor. Clean, neat linen, electric blankets, and feather duvet inners
, makes it a cozy experience even in winter. The spacious lounge has a
comfortable six seater leather lounge suite plus a lazy boy for the one who
manages to grab it first . From the lounge there is a sliding door onto the
covered patio, where you can chat, see the stars and listen to the sound of the
sea. The prolific fynbos offers a unique privacy from the road.
