The Barbet Country Cottages are situated on a farm of 520 hectares, 17 km from Clarens with magnificent Maluti Mountain views and great walks. There is a choice between our comfortable six-sleeper (3 bedrooms), partly under thatch with a cozy sunroom which is fitted with a fireplace. Two bedrooms fitted with double beds, one bedroom fitted with 2 single beds. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, toaster and kettle. The cottage has two bathrooms. All the beds are fitted with electric blankets. All linen and towels are supplied and the cottage is serviced daily.

Our second cottage, 'The Barbet Nest' is a romantic 2-bedroomed cottage, nestled under thatch and has an open-plan kitchen . Main bedroom fitted with double bed, second bedroom fitted with 2 single beds. The cottage has its own private veranda. The kitchen and lounge are fitted with under floor heating for your comfort.

A braai area is also situated at the cottage and wood is supplied on request.

Clarens, our local village has some excellent art and craft shops as well as lovely restaurants and coffee shops. Trout fishing permits for many of the local dams and rivers are available at Clarens Destinations, situated in the Highlander Centre in Clarens.

We are also 1 hour away from ski resorts in Lesotho and provide a perfect base for day trips into the beautiful mountain kingdom.
