Bay Lodge is situated in the heart of the Garden Route, ideally situated to be used as a base for exploring. Discover our village, Mossel Bay, & surroundings.

Bay Lodge has 8 luxurious en-suite rooms, available in king, queen or twin beds. Family rooms are also available. Some rooms have sea view, while non sea facing rooms are overlooking the courtyard & pool. Light & airy bedrooms are done in a nautical style, with all modern comforts, including shared satellite, M-Net, tea & coffee tray, bar fridge, hairdryer, shaver plug, radio clock alarm, electronic safe, bathrobes and beach towels.

A scrumptious breakfast is served in the dining room & on the patio overlooking the bay. Select from our buffet, followed by a full English breakfast.

Traditional home cooking & legendary South African barbeques are available on request. Restaurants are only a few minutes away.

Returning after dinner to our cosy pub for a night cap.

True South African hospitality is always on offer.

We are a non smoking establishment, although smoking is permitted on the patio.

We can provide you with information of the area & can assist you in organising activities. Airport transfers are available from George Airport.

We cater for every individuals needs to ensure a pleasant & enjoyable stay.

Remember: Any closer to the Beach - and you would need a towel!

Facilities
Bay Lodge on the Beach has a lovely swimming beach, where you can walk for miles' If you want, you can take our resident fitness instructor (our pet dog) to walk with you.

Bay Lodge is the ideal place to unwind and relax. With a refreshingly informal atmosphere.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, Mossel Bay has a moderate climate all year round, second to Hawaii.

In winter you can watch whales from our patio, while dolphins, seals and different seabirds can be seen right through the year. We provide towels for the beach and pool-Garden steps lead right onto the beach, where loungers are waiting for you.

We have some entertainment facilities, which are sea facing. Have a cocktail in our cosy pub, while playing a game of pool or snooker, or even table tennis. In our wine cellar we have a fine selection of the best wines from both local & international wineries, Settle down in the reading lounge with a book from our collection.

For the coffee lovers, we have a small coffee bar, to enjoy some freshly roasted coffee.
