Melkbosstrand is the first town on the West Coast and only 25 minutes from the world famous Melkbosstrand.

Melkbosstrand beach is only 100 meters from your front door and the famous Bloubergstrand beaches are only 10 minutes drive away. From both Melkbosstrand and Bloubergstrand you look back over Cape Town, against the backdrop of Table Mountain, and Robben Island.

It is a short stroll along the beach for breakfast, lunch or dinner at our beachfront restaurants, from delicious seafood at Cafe Orca to the best sushi at Eastern Fusion. Along the Blouberg and Tableview beachfront, (only 10 minutes drive away) you have a variety of restaurants to choose from, overlooking Cape Town and Table Mountain. Or take the 25 minute drive to Cape Town and V&A Waterfront for a great shopping and dinning experience.

For the more adventures there are hiking in the nature reserve between Melkbosstrand and Bloubergstrand, through the fynbos, or golfing at Atlantic Beach Golf Course (a championship links-style Course). Or if you prefer fishing, crayfish diving, surfing and windsurfing on Melkbossstrand beach. During August to October the fynbos is in full bloom and a drive up the West Coast, past Langebaan, will reward you with the most beautiful scenes of wiled flowers.

Beechwood Self Catering offers a comfortable 2 bedroom, each with en-suite, unit. The kitchen is fitted with stove, dishwasher, fridge and microwave for your convenience. Comfortable living room offers DStv and opens onto your own balcony to enjoy breakfast or a late afternoon cocktail. Unit accommodates 4 people and each bedroom is equipped with a double bed. Unit is serviced weekly with linen and towels. Additional service can be provided on request.
