This beautiful beach venue is run by the owners, Jackie and Glenn, who will do their utmost to ensure that each day spent in their guesthouse will be a special one for their visitors. Between them they speak several languages, including German and French, and Glenn is an experienced tour guide who will gladly assist in planning day trips in the Western Cape.
A well-known landmark on Beach Road, Berg en Zee is situated centrally in
Gordon's Bay, just a few steps from the beach. Whether you would like to soak up the sun on well-known Bikini Beach, take a boat trip from the harbour or enjoy a meal in one of the many beachfront restaurants - you'll find it all just a few minutes' walk away.
The six guest rooms each have a private balcony from which you can watch the waves lap up onto the beach. Our unparalleled views stretching across False Bay towards
Table Mountain and Devil's Peak are in great demand among visitors to Gordon's Bay. You can also enjoy the vista of the
Hottentots Holland mountain range. The rooms are extremely spacious and all have a sitting area and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. No two rooms are the same. They are all furnished and decorated in keeping with the style of this imposing building. There are three double rooms and three family rooms (which can easily accommodate four people).
The wine cellar has been converted into a dedicated guest lounge with a TV and DVD player and a selection of movies.
Airport transfers are available upon request.
