Blue Horizon is a luxury Bed and Breakfast situated in the stunning village
of Southbroom. It offers three spacious, bright and modern ensuite bedrooms
including air conditioning, tv, dvd, wireless internet and beverage tray. Large
sliding doors open onto an individual patio with table and chairs. Guests can
relax in the spacious guest lounge and enjoy the warm hospitality provided by
their hosts. Breakfast is served on the large covered patio overlooking the
swimming pool and with views of the Indian Ocean. The gardens are divided into
two areas, one with lawns and shrubs and the other area left natural for the
nature lover to enjoy the bird life and if you're lucky a passing buck or
duiker.
There are four local tv channels available and a full dvd library for guest use.
In Southbroom there are two restaurants both providing an excellent standard of
food and then within a ten minute drive there are many other exciting options to
choose from. Southbroom beach connects with the Blue Flag beaches of Ramsgate,
Marina Beach and Trafalgar and you can walk for miles on the beautiful, sandy
shoreline. Whale watching in season. For the golf enthusiast there are seven
stunning golf courses nearby including Southbroom, San Lameer and Wild Coast.
Walk through the Bushbuck trail or visit the local Mpenjati Nature Reserve.
Beaver Creek coffee plantation is a 15 minute drive away where tours are
arranged and a wonderful breakfast or lunch is available. Fishing, sailing,
surfing and other watersports are available locally together with horse riding
and cycle trails.
Trips can be booked and organised for guests and we can also arrange airport
transfers with a local company.
