Brandwacht Cottage is a single self-catering cottage nestled between the vineyards on an export tablegrape farm at the foothills of the Brandwacht Mountains only 5km from Worcester.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 people: The main bedroom has one double bed; the 2nd bedroom has two single beds and the 3rd bedroom also has two single beds. It is fully furnished and equipped for self-catering. The open-plan lounge/dining area is air-conditioned and has a fireplace for winter. The cottage has one bathroom with a basin, bath/shower and one separate toilet. It has a private patio overlooking the garden & vineyards. There is a portable barbeque and fire wood is available on request. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed outside only. The following facilities are also provided for our guests: Television in lounge, radio, fan, heater, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, towels, soap & shampoo, coffee & tea tray. There are lovely hiking trails in the mountain above the farm and a large dam for canoeing & picnics.
Brandwacht Cottage is situated within 5 to 15 minutes of many restaurants and all the main attractions in the area e.g: Fairy Glen Game Reserve, Karoo National Botanical Garden, KWV Brandy Cellar, Kleinplasie Open-air Museum, Golden Valley Casino, Golf course & Mountain Mill Shopping Centre.
Worcester is also the centre of the Cape Winelands District and home to more than 10 award- winning cellars.
