This popular self-catering Beach House is modern, private & spacious, and right
'on the edge of the sea', offering three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large airy
open-plan living & dining area and trendy fully fitted kitchen. With its high
ceilings, white rafters, ceiling fans and wide, comfortably furnished verandah,
it is reminiscent of a 'Colonial Plantation House'.
Set in beautiful natural coastal-forest grounds, gently landscaped and home to
ancient Milkwood trees, tropical palms and vines, giant forest ferns, Dassies,
shy little Ipiti Buck, Mongoose, Leguaan, Vervet monkeys, Francolins and other
birds, this attractive 'retreat' promises a wonderful 'get-away-from-it-all'
break for families, stressed adults, and it gives foreign tourists a taste of
"another hard day in Africa!".
Dine in the spacious open-plan dining area inside or out on the wide 'Colonial'
verandah which boasts a large built-in braai / BBQ cooking area and work-surface
and an 8-seater dining table for casual or elegant al fresco meals. Background
music? - the constant concerto of the warm Indian Ocean, mere metres away.
Stretch out on the verandah couch/day-bed and watch the dolphins & whales
frolicking in the surf, or lie absolutely still and spy on the shy little Ipiti
buck nibbling their way across the lawns or having a drink of water at our
'forest water- hole'. Or close your eyes, breathe-in the fresh salty sea-air and
allow the sound of the waves to lull you to sleep...
Two lock-up garages, DStv connection (byo Smartcard) and Nightwatchman combine
to give you a carefree holiday with lots to see-&-do in the vicinity, such as a
tour-&-tasting of a Coffee Estate and also of a Banana Farm; Crocodile Farm &
Snake Park; highest Bungy Jump in the World; Whitewater Rafting; Surfing School;
Riverboat trips up the mighty Umtamvuna; Horseriding-on-the-Beach or around a

This is the very heart of South Africa's Golf Coast, with three of the country's
best and most scenic courses within 5, 10 & 15 minutes' drive of The Beach
House, namely San Lameer & Wild Coast Sun.
Golf Courses and Bowling Greens also at nearby Port Shepstone and Port
Edward. All this, and Heaven too!
A Magical Wedding Venue!
A wonderous setting for a small wedding, either on the lawn directly above
the rocks-and-surf or on the beach (just down the private path). Bridal canopy
supplied or custom-made to suit your theme.

the bottom of the page, which we can arrange for your guests if desired.
All other arrangements can be made if required, such as the catering, flowers
and bouquets, bar, musician(s), wedding cake, table decorations and little gifts
for the guests, place cards, menus , special wine labels, welcome cards in the
guests' rooms, even the Wedding Invitations!
Venue, accommodation and 'extras' all come at a most reasonable price
tailor-made to suit YOUR budget.
Inclement weather is no problem - we simply move all proceedings inside or onto
the verandah! No worries!

Ideal venue for small groups. Tranquility conducive to concentration and
clear thinking! Break-away areas/rooms.

page - we will make all necessary arrangements for you.
Team Building excercises and activites can be arranged, such as "Survivor",
WhiteWater Rafting, Fishing Contest (rock or deepsea), Surfing

Bus from Durban can be arranged for delegates, if desired.
