BRODIE COTTAGE
Noordhoek Self Catering Accommodation
Brodie Cottage is an ideal place to stay whatever the time of year! It's in a
secure complex on the edge of the Silvermine Nature Reserve looking down the
valley towards Fishhoek beach and the Indian Ocean yet it is only two minutes
away from the 7km of white sand of Noordhoek beach on the Atlantic Ocean side of
the peninsula. It is therefore perfectly located for anyone who wants to explore
and experience all the marvellous attractions of the Western Cape. Only thirty
minutes from the centre of Cape Town yet it is less than half an hour from Cape
Point where the two oceans meet. For that special holiday 'Brodie' has so much
to offer!
The interior of the cottage is bright, airy, tastefully furnished and equipped.
The downstairs bedroom with ensuite facilities has a large double bed and French
doors lead out to the garden and pool area. The living area is open plan with a
very comfortable spacious lounge with a log fire, ideal in winter, a dining
room, a family room with DSTV television and a fully fitted kitchen including a
dishwasher.
Upstairs the spacious sunny bedroom sleeps four having a double and two single
beds. There is a separate large bathroom (shower, bath etc.) and a study area in
the hall with a range of dvds and a small library.
Outside attached to the garage is the utility room with washing machine, tumble
drier and separate toilet.
The peaceful garden is on three sides of the house and includes the large,
sparkling pool (with safety cover) and plenty of furniture for dining or just
relaxing out there. There is a Weber for braaing.
Brodie Cottage is ideal for anyone visiting the Western Cape. The city of Cape
Town, Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope, the wine routes, Table Mountain, the
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the penguins at Boulders Beach are just a few
of the local attractions. Only a few minutes away Noordhoek beach is fabulous
for walks and enjoys some amazing sunsets. Walking/hiking, horse-riding, golf,
tennis and scuba-diving are all available close by, as is coastal whale watching
when the Southern Rights visit our shoreline between August and December. We are
always happy to provide our guests with as much information and advice as they
need on all the places to visit and things like walking routes and local
restaurants and so on, and how to get to them.
The cottage is serviced once a week but should more be required this can be
arranged. We can also organize inexpensive transfers from Cape Town Airport and
can organize discounted hire cars for our guests.
