This spacious and luxurious home is located in a secure cul-de-sac in one of
Pietermatitzburg's most sought after suburbs. With stunning green belt views and
a lovely entertainment area to unwind in, one quickly realizes the uniqueness of
this establishment. "Cal's Place" is a freehold 4/5 bedroom establishment,
meaning when you book to stay, you have the entire home to yourselves, excluding
the domestic worker, who is there to clean up after you.
The main room has a gorgeous en-suite bathroom, while the other rooms share a
separate bathroom (both with shower & bath facilities). The flow of the house is
an entertainers dream, walking from the gourmet granite & maple kitchen, one
enters the dinning/lounge area. A large dinning room table is situated along
side the fire place, for those cozy evenings and a great atmosphere. The lounge
has ample comfortable seating. Large glass folding doors open up the lounge to
the pool area. There is a lovely braai area and pool house for eating or
relaxing out of the sun. Inside there is a second lounge area where there is
DSTV viewing.
For your relaxation & comfort we have many extras such as air-conditioning,
crisp linen, secure parking via remote control access, daily servicing, and at
an extra fee, we can assist guests with laundry.
We can accommodate ten guests in total, making it ideal for sporting teams,
those requiring short term accommodation due to relocation or building, large
families, business executives & tour groups.
Location
"Cal's Place" borders Victoria Country Club Estate, making it ideal for teams
participating in sporting events at the VCC and for corporate company's who have
clients or staff coming to do business at the VCC or nearby office parks. The
very popular Cascades World Cup MTB course is a mere one kilometer away and
offers cycling teams and enthusiasts an ideal place to stay.
We are conveniently situated for guests participating in the Comrades Marathon,
Duzi Canoe Marathon, Midmar Mile, Amashova and Hill2Hill cycle events and we are
also within close proximity to the Royal Show grounds.
There are a number of golf courses in the area such as the neighboring Victoria
Country Club Estate, Maritzburg Golf Club, Sakabula and Boschoek.
For those wishing to visit the majestic Drakensburg, a world heritage site, it
is a pleasant one hour drive to the Southern Drakensburg.
Midmar and Albert falls dams, popular for boating and fishing enthusiasts, are
only half an hour's drive. The north and south coasts are within an hours drive.
Oribi airport is also within 10 kilometers.
Several good restaurants can be found in the immediate area. The Liberty
Midlands Mall Centre is two kilometers drive offering shoppers a selection of
shops and restaurants.
