Kevin and Suzette van Niekerk are the owners of a guesthouse on the Wedderwill Estate. .
On this wine estate you can experience silence, and stand in awe of nature.
We would like to share our tranquil surroundings with you - the ambience of the property is that of unlimited peace and quiet.
Together with our staff, we will make your stay as comfortable as possible, and will arrange for activities, for instance horse riding. Our advice could be asked about places to visit, etc.
When you stay at our guesthouse you have access to all kinds of outdoor activities. There is secure parking and ample space. We also offer a conference venue and host small weddings in the garden and next to the swimming pool.

Accommodation:
- Self-catering: Sea view unit
Sleeps max. 6
The unit consists of two separate bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen bed
and the 2nd bedroom 2 single beds. There are also 2 single beds in the large
open plan lounge/ kitchen area. The bathroom is a full one consisting of
bath, shower and toilet facilities.
The kitchen area is fully equipped as we have strived to meet everyone's
requirements.
- Self-catering: Garden Unit
Sleeps max. 3
The unit consists of 1 bedroom with double bed and separate shower,
washbasin, toilet facility It also has a single bed in the lounge area.
A fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal.
- Self-catering: Studio
Sleeps max. 2
The unit consists of one large bedroom with fully equipped built-in
kitchenette and a full bathroom (bath, shower and toilet).
- Self-catering: Mountain Unit
This unit consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed and it can also sleep a child on the sleeper couch in the lounge area. It has a shower/washbasin/toilet facility and a well equipped kitchen.
- Self catering - Manor house: (sleeps max 3)
Manor Unit consists of two separate bedrooms with one bathroom (bath and
shower, washbasin, toilet facilities). It has one double bed and one (or
two) single beds. A fully equipped kitchen is available.
The following recreation facilities are available on the estate:
- Swimming pool at Guesthouse
- Swimming in farm dam - you may walk through the vineyard straight to the dam.
- Canoeing on farm dam
- Hiking - trails into the mountains - follow the signs
- Fishing - trout fishing in farm dam
- Cycling for those who wish to bring their bicycles along with them
- Bird watching
- Horse riding - By arrangement available close to the Guesthouse
- Cruises on a pleasure boat can also be arranged.
- Quad bikes - can be arranged on request.
- Wine tasting is also available on request.
- Television: Satellite Television is available - the standard channel is movie magic. To change over to sport or any other channel please ask management. Please consider other guests when watching late night movies.
- Visitor's card: A visitor's card is attached to your unit key in order to gain access through the security boom gate.
- Visitors: Please arrange with management when you invite friends over.
- Indemnity: Cape Country Living Guesthouse and its management accepts no responsibility for any deaths, injury or illness sustained or suffered by any person, or theft, loss or damage to any property, occurring within or arising from a visit or visits to the guesthouse and whether allegedly due to the negligence of the guesthouse or any of its servants or arriving from the use of any facilities.
