The Inn at Castle Hill is a charming, characterful Edwardian Villa
overlooking the quaint fishing village of Kalk Bay near Cape Town. Decorated in
a classic colonial style, the beautiful ceilings and wrap around lattice veranda
gives this building the charm and warmth that would make you feel at home. Enjoy
true Cape hospitality and personal service of your host Madelein. Accommodation
consists of 6 Double rooms, four En-suite and two with privately allocated
bathrooms. Most of the rooms open up to a spectacular sea-view.
Rooms:
Your individually decorated in a colonial style bedroom opens on to a latticed
Veranda affording spectacular views of False Bay, with the Hottentots Holland
Mountains as the backdrop. Morning tea and coffee facilities are provided in
every room as well as bottled water and wine.
There is a cozy sun room for reading and relaxing that leads to the Lounge with
a Television set and to enjoy music. The terrace is perfect for soaking up the
summer rays.

We have 4 Rooms of which all rooms have access to the Veranda with front sea
views.
Standard Rooms: Privately allocated bathroom
The 2 Rooms have front sea views that open onto the Veranda. These rooms have
Twin or Double bed options. The Privately allocated bathrooms are situated
across the hallway and bathrobes are provided.
Area:
The historic Fisherman's Village of Kalk Bay offers a variety of antique,
boutique and craft shops that line the cobbled lanes of Main Road. With
Silvermine Mountain as the backdrop and the harbour with the fishing boats
lining the horizon makes one of the spectacular spots on the Southern Peninsula.
Excellent Restaurants and Bars gives you a top choice in your culinary
experience. Harbour House and Brass Bell being some of the favourites.
Attractions:
From June till mid-October, whales visit the bay to sport in the calm waters of
your harbour entrance which you can view from the comfort of our veranda.
Kalk Bay theatre has various shows running throughout the year and many shops
and restaurants.
South Africa's only shore-based colony if Jackass penguins can be visited at
Boulders Beach in the Naval port of Simons Town, 20mins away.
