Central Holiday/Overnight flats is situated in a garden with braai facilities
in front of each flat. Each flat has an air conditioner in the bedroom and
ceiling fans in the lounge and bedrooms. All flats are fully equipped self
catering units. Linen and towels are provided. Blankets are supplied during cold
winter months.
Safe parking is provided. A friendly owner lives on the premises to welcome
guests and make them feel at home. Central Flats is within walking distance from
the Beaufort Mall.
Beaufort West museum provide valuable information on the history of our lovely
Karoo town. The focal point of the museum is the Chris Barnard Exhibition in the
stately old building that was the original Town Hall built in 1866.
A very interesting presentation of the world's first heart transplant performed
by Prof. Barnard can be watched on video in the museum.
Central Flats is situated 5 km from the Karoo National Park where various
animals can be seen. A very big asset to the park is new arrivals of lions. A
big tourist attraction. Day visitors can go on a very pleasant day drive through
a beautiful arid Karoo landscape. On a clear day the majestic Swartberg
mountains can be seen.
