Clivia Hill, situated on the banks of Bell Park Dam in the Central

ambit of the Drakensberg World Heritage Site.
Clivia Hill is on The Drakensberg Experience route, one of the newest tourist

Accommodation:
The thatched double-storey guest unit comprises a well-equipped open-plan living
area and three double bedrooms, each with its own bath- or shower-room adjacent
or en suite. The two north-facing upstairs bedrooms open onto a balcony offering
scenic views through 180 degrees.
All the rooms are provided with wall heaters for cold winter nights and ceiling
fans and mosquito burners for summer. The living area, which has DSTV and a log
fireplace, opens onto a secluded covered porch equipped with a built-in braai
and a Weber. Stone steps lead down from the porch through an indigenous rockery
into an extensive clivia-filled garden from which a gate gives direct access to
Bell Park Dam, known for its exceptionally pure water and its bird life. A
two-seater canoe is available for hire.
Depending on the weather and guests' preference, breakfast is served either in
the open plan living area, on the covered stoep, in the garden or in the
adjacent breakfast room. Menu available on request.
