Self Catering Cottage Accommodation
in Dargle, Midlands, KZN
If you need a private and quiet spot where you can contemplate life,
Dargle. There are beautiful views over rolling hills and peaceful farmlands from the large, covered verandah. The cottage consists of
two bedrooms, one with queen sized bed, with an ensuite bathroom and another
with two single beds in it and the bathroom is en suite. The large living area is open-plan and there is a
sleeper couch which can sleep two. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, pots and pans as well as all the crockery and cutlery that you need. Clean linen and towels are provided. Please bring your own swimming towels.
Activities include scenic walks through the 700 acre farmlands, fishing in the dams and in the Umgeni River which makes up one of the farm's boundaries, bird watching, mountain biking, horse riding ( by arrangement), and tubing down the river (in season).
We are on the
Midlands Meander route and we are also craft members with a small furniture workshop and showroom situated in the farm yard. Visitors are welcome to come and see how the furniture is made and to view the pieces on show. We do offer woodworking courses from time to time.
Corrie Lynn Farm runs a magnificent herd of Nguni cattle. They are hardy, resistant to many pests and diseases as well as being beautiful! Our herd is free-range and organic.
There are restaurants close by as well as craft studios, country stores and other scenic attractions. We are happy to accommodate well-behaved pets by arrangement.
