All our cottages have private entrances and secure undercover parking. The comfort of our guests is ensured with an en-suit bathroom/toilet, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast nook and lounge with TV and satellite TV. Internet, e-mail, and fax facilities available. Each cottage has its own veranda with direct access to the garden and sparkling swimming pool. A major shopping centre with pubs, restaurants, take-away foods, cinemas, pharmacy, doctors, post office, supermarket, butcher, video shops and petrol station/garage with AVIS facility are within walking distance. Internet, e-mail, and fax facilities available.

Cosy Cottage B&B is also a Birder Friendly Establishment officially recognised by BirdLife South Africa. With the most important birding spots in the area, like the world-renowned OPM Prozesky Bird Sanctuary literally on our doorstep, Cosy Cottage B&B organises customised birding trips on a daily basis.

Potchefstroom offers, apart from birding, several other nature experiences. The Highveld National Park, as well as the established Buffelsvlei Wild Animal Park, is about 12km from Cosy Cottage B&B. About 20km from us lies the Vredefort Dome, created 2000 million years ago by a giant meteorite which struck the earth creating a crater 80km in diameter and forcing the surrounding landscape into a dome-like feature. This is the largest and oldest meteorite impact site on earth and is soon to be nominated for World Heritage status.
