This appealing cottage reminds one of a small Mediterranean Villa combined
with elements of an English country cottage, the ambience being one of
“carefree, happy days at the sea”
It is owned by Callie and Monique Strydom, South Africa's most "famous"
hostages, this charming and quaint and delightful cottage is perfect for a small
family or a romantic holiday.
This comfortable and attractively furnished cottage sleeps four. It has an
attractive open-plan living area and kitchen. Equipped with a stove, microwave,
fridge/freezer and coffee machine. There is a TV with DSTV decoder (bring your
own card or we will connect you!).
The bedroom boasts a king-sized bed (that can be converted into two singles) and
doors opening onto a patio-with-a-sea-view. This bedroom has an en-suite
bathroom with a bath. A deep 'sleeping alcove' with adult-sized bunk beds, leads
off the living room. Privacy is secured by a screen.
The covered verandah, which features a six-seater dining table and built-in
braai, has a beautiful view of the sea and the magnificent natural
coastal-forest grounds.
Golf, absailing, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, shopping, fine dining - we have
it all here! The cottage is only 2 minutes walk from the Blue Flag Marina Beach
and has a private little beach right in front of the property. The Southbroom
Beach and lagoon is situated to the left of the property. Close to great
adventures like scuba diving on Protea Banks, golf at San Lameer and Southbroom
or jump down the Oribi Gorge! Many great restaurants in the area with two large
shopping centres in Shelly Beach (10 minutes). The Wild Coast Casino and
Watersport adventures 20 minutes to the South.
