The farm was acquired in late 1999. As a family it was the ideal to have our kids introduced to the outdoors and we subsequently moved there to enhance our quality of living.
The property is a mere 40km north of
Cullinan provides many attractions and restaurants and is only 25km east of the farm.
We game fenced the property and introduced a few species of game who are now like children. They are all named and each one has a special place in our hearts. It was so successful that this lead to adding new more exclusive units.
An open air lapa, with conference facilities and kitchen, bar and ablution facilities was added for versatility.
It is ideal for families and friends to rekindle friendships, it is ideal for business men to hold small conferences.
The bush has a way of speaking to you whether you sit quietly on your patio or taking a walk in the veld.
There are various braai facilities and sitting areas. The exclusive cabins can accommodate a couple sharing each.
The stand alone cottages each have their own private patio and bathroom and a beautiful view of the African bush. It has a fireplace for cold winter evenings and tea / coffee making facilities with a bar fridge.
The décor is rustic and elegant at the same time and all high quality linen and towels are provided.
Cleaning in all units is provided from Mondays to Saturdays and on request Sundays at an extra charge. Laundry services can be arranged.
We are also situated in the De Tweedespruit conservancy and approximately 286 species of birds have been noted in the area of which quite a number have been identified on the farm.
The animals venture close to the units during the day and late afternoon to drink at the strategically placed watering holes around the units. They regularly get fed special treats and its great excitement to watch them come for their anticipated snack.
We have also been blessed with many young being born in the confines of the property.
