Die Plaashuis in Vermont is available for self-catering Holiday Rentals for a
family group. There are 5 bedrooms, each with its own en suite bathroom; the
house has a tranquil character and personality, built in the style of a
traditional farm house. There is comfortable accommodation for as many as 14
people. Cooking and eating is a pleasure in the grand Dining Room under a high
thatch roof.
Your group will stay in the same place without any strangers sharing your
accommodation. You gather more than a dozen folks to enjoy the pleasures of
Hermanus and the Overberg. The entire house is yours at an affordable price.
If you would like the house to be serviced in any way - making beds, clearing
dishes, laundry, sweeping - we provide the service with a smile. Many groups
just prefer to be on their own and run the house their way.
For a Wedding, Die Plaashuis is an ideal venue for out-of-town visitors to share
transport, catering and good company, and to stay on for a few days after the
fun of the feast.
If your group consists of kiddies and oldies and young ones, you will find it
very easy to co-exist without disturbing the rest of the household. There is so
much space that those who prefer peace and tranquillity can have a quiet time,
while the noisy ones don't have to tone down their behaviour because grandpa
wants to be left alone. The Games Room with its Pool table, dartboard, books and
board games, is a popular gathering place.
And the beautiful Coastal Path is just a block away. Enjoy the scenic stroll
close to Nature, breathe the clear air, watch the whales.
