Elvesida Farm is a small working farm situated on 100 acres in the beautiful
Boston Valley of the Natal Midlands, approximately one & a half hour drive from
Durban & five hours from Johannesburg.
Accommodation
- 3 delightful options from a four bed Farmhouse, 2 x bed roomed cottages
"The Sheds", and 3 smaller units "The Stables". We thus have the capacity to
accommodate large groups of people, such as retreats, youth camps, family
reunions, birthday weekends etc
- All accommodation is on a self catering basis and all fully-fitted
kitchens have fridge/freezers, microwaves, stoves/ovens, toasters, kettles,
cutlery and crockery. Braais are available at all the houses.
- We cater especially for families with young energetic kids and their
friends, as Elvesida Holiday Farm is a child's paradise with a wide variety
of activities for them to choose from.

- Birding - 100 listed bird species that call this region home
- Mountain Bike Riding
- Interacting with farm animals - pony rides, feeding animals, milking of
cows, bunnies
- Quad and off road bikers are welcome and for the experienced rider there
are tracks in the area
- Trout have been introduced in the Eland's river which borders the farm
so hopefully we should soon be fishing for brown trout in the river
- A little shop is now open on the farm to market our homemade jams,
pickles, biltong etc. As well as fresh milk, free range eggs & seasonal
vegetables from our garden
- For the less energetic just relax with your favourite book or wander
along the paths that meander around the farm. Elvesida Farm offers an
affordable getaway for all ages, where parents can relax whilst the
youngsters expend their energy in an exciting environment.
