Esikhotheni Private Game Reserve on Jozini Lake, is by no means primitive and
untamed as the name would suggest. Comfortable and elegant without being fussy,
Esikhotheni Lodge celebrates tranquil charm, surrounded by untouched African
bush, on a stunning hilltop location overlooking the shimmering Jozini Lake.
Superior accommodation at Esikhotheni Lodge is offered in 7 en-suite chalets,
positioned for optimum privacy each with private patios to savour the
magnificent views over Jozini Lake. The bathrooms are very spacious with large
showers and raised oval baths with clear views of the surrounding African Bush.
The Honeymoon Suite is designed with the more romantic guest in mind, with a
private Jacuzzi set on an extended deck in the bush.
The chalets all have air-conditioning, mini bar with tea & coffee making
facilities; luxurious bath essences, lotions etc for your pleasure & comfort,
hairdryers and electronic mini-safe for safe keeping of personal items, money
etc.

Dining at Esikhotheni Lodge is an indulgence. Long lazy breakfasts are served
outside on the deck under the giant Marula tree, where guests can enjoy the view
of the Lebombo Mountains stretching along the length of the Jozini Lake.
Delectably elegant dinners - all carefully prepared and beautifully presented by
the resident chef, served either in the traditional boma around the blazing
fire, or in the lodge.
Esikhotheni Private Game Reserve offers guests an array of activities to choose
from - traditional morning and evening game drives, bush walks, Rhino tracking
on foot, cruises on Jozini Lake, Tigerfishing, and for the more adventurous we
have a 4x4 track where you can put your vehicle through its paces.

pristine piece of paradise!

- Boat Cruises - along the edges of the 3rd largest fresh water lake in South Africa, or down the picturesque gorge toward Jozini dam wall with water so clear one can see to great depths.

- Walking Trails - within the boundaries of the farm guests can enjoy scenic guided walking trails.
- Birding - the bird life is prolific.
- 4x4 Trail - suitable for vehicles and mountain biking.

Location
Situated 21km north of
Pongola makes this destination easy and safe to access - no need to wander off into rural areas. 30 Minutes drive from Golela (Swaziland) Border Post.
From Durban, take the N2 North, by-passing
Vryheid / Nongoma (gravel) road. Drive for about 1.5km to our gate on the left hand side. Follow the arrows to the lodge. Distance from Durban to our gate is about 330km time about 4 hours.
From the Inland Route, follow the R66/R69 to Pongola and then turn onto the N2 South. From here, it is 46km to the turn-off into the R66/R69 Vryheid / Nongoma (gravel) road. Drive for about 1.5km to our gate on the left hand side. Follow the arrows to the lodge.
Closest Airstrip: Mkuze 21kms from lodge. The landing strip is 1800m long and the surface is 30m wide and is tarred. Co-ordinates 32deg 03, 0E / 27deg 38, 0S
