Self catering cottage situated on 50 acre farm property with breathtaking
views into the Umgeni Valley and across to the Drakensberg. The cottage consists
of two bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin-bedded, fully airconditioned and each with
ensuite bathroom. Separate fully equipped kitchen containing fridge/freezer,
stove, microwave and coffee perculator. Portable braai on verandah. SABC 1, 2
and 3 plus DVD machine with selection of DVDs. Wireless internet. Large garden
area plus outdoor seating. The overriding attraction of this property is its
magnificent setting in natural grassland, plus beautiful show gardens. Member of
the Natal Witness Open Gardens.
Additional second Family Cottage which sleeps 5. Open plan bedroom/kitchen &
dining area/lounge. Bedroom area consists of queen bed, bunk beds, and
additional single bed. Fully equipped kitchen, full lounge, bathroom with
shower. Outside seating area plus portable braai. Amenities and outlook same as
for original cottage and price is the same.
We are 2kms from Hilton College School and approximately 20kms from Midmar Dam.
We are close to the Midlands Meander and 20kms from Pietermaritzburg. We are
conveniently situated midway between the Central Berg (100km) and the Durban
beachfront (90km). The property itself borders directly onto the Umgeni Nature
Valley Reserve and we enjoy migrating game, such as Oribi, from the Reserve. We
boast a 700m pristine grass airstrip and hangarage is also available. Please
