Forest Edge is a haven for nature-loving families, stressed-out city-dwellers, adventurers and honeymooners alike. Situated off the beaten track up in the hills away from traffic noise, it nestles in the expansive Millwood Indigenous Knysna Forest - a Forest rich in birdlife and exotic stories.

Enjoy an emerald day unwinding on Forest walks or biking trails, at the spotless Buffalo beach, on a forest stream picnic, reading in a lazy hammock, on an adventure activity, or on a trip to Knysna town (20 leisurely minutes away). After a refreshing late-afternoon hot-water outdoor shower or relaxing indoor olde-worlde bath, mellow out on the verandah with sundowners while watching a bushbuck or baboon family drink at the dam. Light a braai(barbeque) under the stars to the chorus of frogs. Flitting fireflies and evocative nightjars add to the enchantment. In Winter, relax in front of a cozy log-fire.

Each 2-bedroomed gold-mining style cottage houses up to 5 persons: main bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with two single beds (plus a cot and/or extra mattress on request). Being fully quipped, including a microwave, TV/DVD, coffee/tea and linen/towels, it offers an affordable break-away experience to remember.
