Under a sprawling thatch roof, with spectacular panoramic views across the
dam, our lodge is an elegant respite from the madding crowds. Set apart from
others by its seclusion, intimacy and privacy, it offers a cocoon of quality and
grace where an overwhelming sense of peace consumes you.
This Lodge has been designed for true bush elegance, and combines personal
service and closeness to nature. The interior is reminiscent of a gentleman's manor. Warm and inviting with high
ceilings and walls that are graced with photographs of wildlife, collected by
the owners, from around the world. Kelims, Persians, enormous leather couches to
laze in, armchairs big enough for two, an honesty bar for your favorite tipple,
a day spa for pampering, a private pool for the sun-goddess and air-conditioned
bedrooms to escape to, the small luxuries that make for a relaxing and
invigorating experience.
Accommodation:
We have 10 suites, all en suite with separate bath and showers, each with their
own views of the dam, portable air conditioning and heating. Two of the rooms
have their own fireplaces for those colder winter nights. All are supplied with
hair dryers, DSTV with 19 available channels
Conference Facility:
Galagos lodge boasts its own conference centre which accommodates up to 40
guests comfortably. Refreshments are served outside - weather permitting - or on
the magnificent sun deck adjacent to the sparkling pool.
Lunches can be served in the dining room above the conference room. Lunches and
dinners served subject to prior arrangement.
Approximately 50 km North West of Johannesburg and 50km west of Pretoria lies
the tranquil, picturesque village of Kosmos. Situated on the banks of the
Magaliesburg Mountain range,
Kosmos is home to Galagos Lodge.

Dinning:
The dining area is clean and inviting with crisp white linen clad tables and the
ferreting aroma of neatly growing herbs, which have been placed inside the
dining area against a wall.
The dining area seats 20 guests comfortably.
All meals are prepared lovingly by the owner and her loyal team.
The cuisine is all home made with the emphasis on fresh ingredients and boasts
specialty breakfasts.
Lunches and Dinners can be accommodated for if arranged for in advance.
