This is a quiet holiday spot where one is lulled to sleep by the sound of the
waves. You can enjoy a view of the sea right from your bed !
This roomy studio unit, which accommodates two people, has an en-suite bathroom.
The separate kitchenette is equipped with microwave oven, fridge and tabletop
stove. A double bed is provided but single beds can be arranged. There is a
satellite dish, but you will need to bring your own smart card to access Dstv -
if your card is married to your decoder you will have to bring both to the unit.
All linen is supplied, and the unit is serviced three times a week.
The unit has its own patio where you can sit and enjoy the view of the sea,
while having breakfast or sundowners Keep an eye out for the dolphins for which
this coastline is famous. One can even do some whale-spotting in the season !
The flat is attached to the side of the main house in a large garden. The
property is one back from the beach and with the elevation has the most stunning
view overlooking Tiffany’s Reef – a popular spot for both surfers and
spearfishermen.
It takes just a minute's walk to get down onto the sand of a long unspoilt
beach, just north of the well-known Salt Rock Hotel - there is safe swimming and
beautiful rock pools to explore. We also have a large swimming pool in the
garden which is yours to use - it is ideal if the beach gets too windy, or if
you want a late night dip ! From the pool one can look down the coast to Ballito
and on to Durban in the distance.
With the temperate climate of the Dolphin Coast you are able to swim all the
year round.
The property, which is fully fenced with an electric gate, affords you secure
parking.
Salt Rock is a quiet holiday and residential area away from the hurley burley of
Ballito, with a small shopping centre within walking distance of the house. Five
minutes away, by car, is the new Tiffany's Shopping Centre. Here you will find a
SuperSpar, hairdresser, excellent choice of restaurants and take-aways, clothes
shops, as well as Clicks with its own pharmacy.

Salt Rock Hotel, which is a very popular wedding venue - 5 minutes away
A number of good restaurants, within walking distance
Ballito - 10 minutes away
Umhlanga, with Gateway Shopping Centre - 20 minutes away
The new uShaka Marine World in Durban, with it's world class aquarium - a mere

A number of well-known golf courses in the area
The famous game reserves of Zululand are within easy reach
Close enough to explore the Drakensberg mountains, and the historical
battlefield

accommodation is re-let for the full period.
