The world class 18-holes Gary Player golf course attracts golf-pros and casual players alike.

The apartment has its entrance conveniently on ground level but is actually a 1st floor apartment (built against a slope, there is an apartment below ours to be reached by walking downstairs).

Golf Course
Goose Valley, Plettenberg Bay's newest golf development, provides a breath-taking setting for the discerning golfer. The fairways and immaculate greens (Kikuya fairways, Bent greens) are well-maintained all year round.

This fine Gary Player 18 hole, 72 par designed golf course is built on pure sand with excellent drainage properties. It uses recycled water from the "Gans Rivier" (Goose River) which flows through Goose Valley, which is also a nature reserve. Views of ocean, the lagoon and Tsitsikamma Mountains are spectacular. Golf carts and clubs are for hire. There are a Halfway-House, Pro-shop and a Driving Range as well as a Clubhouse.
