The Holiday House is a newly refurbished, self-catering house set within a
secure marine reserve on the edge of the beach. This exclusive 3 bedroom, 2
bathroom house also has a lounge, dining room, kitchen and study. All rooms are
fully equipped with every item the discerning visitor may need .The house
extends onto an undercover patio that offers a cool respite from the sun with
armchairs, couches and a table and chairs. The patio flows onto a private garden
with braai facilities that overlook the sea.
A short stroll through the marine reserve will take you down to the sandy
swimming beach which will impress with its beautiful rock pools and quiet
ambience. Alternatively a fresh water swimming pool is available to guests
within the secure area .A brisk walk along the shore will take you to the
entertainment at Scottburgh Main beach where shark nets ensure safe swimming and
surfing in the water.
Sporting enthusiasts will be delighted by the facilities on offer at nearby
clubs where short term membership is available. Highly rated golf courses nearby
include Scottburgh, Pennington and Selbourne. The local bowling club welcomes
visitors and is conveniently situated 5 minutes away from the house. Diving the
Aliwal Shoal is also possible as many dive schools and dive operators launch
from nearby Umkomaas and Rocky Bay.
Scottburgh has a mall with most national franchisors operating including
Woolworths, Pick n Pay, Steers, Clicks and an Ocean Basket. Scottburgh's central
shopping area boasts many unique shops and specialist restaurants i.e. French,
Mauritian, Indian and Italian. After all the shopping and sport enjoy long lazy
afternoons on the front patio watching the dive boats or the dolphins while the
braai sizzles and the wine cools.
