Chintsa is at the start of the Wild Coast, a section of unspoilt African coastline, with over 12km of sandy beach, fishing, horse riding, birding, hiking and caves.
Chintsa East
is nestled between the lagoon of the Cintsa River and indigenous forest. To the north east of the lagoon is a long stretch of sandy beach. Chintsa West, the less developed of the two, is now home to a golfing estate and Inkhenkwesi Game farm, which has re-introduced some of the former wild life into the area.
