Arboretum
Arboretum is a beautiful, residential suburb just north of the Bloemfontein City centre.

Arboretum is nearby the Bloemfontein Zoo which is a great way to spend the day with the whole family, you will get to view many different species of colourful birds, a variety of wildlife such as, hippo, chimpanzee, elephants and even the very popular liger. Another interesting day out for the whole family while visiting, is the National Museum in Bloemfontein which is home so interesting exhibits like the complete dinosaur skeleton and a 'working' beehive. Nearby to Arboretum Bloemfontein, is the Freestate Sports Stadium which will be host to some of the 2010 Fifa World Cup matches.

Arboretum enjoys a moderate climate with hot to very hot summer months with most rainfall as thunderstorms and cool to very cold winter months.
